The TNC is one of Catalonia’s most important cultural institutions. Inaugurated in 1996, it was designed by architect Ricardo Bofill, standing out for its resemblance to a Roman temple. It is located in Plaça de les Arts in Barcelona and symbolises, along with the Auditori, a move towards revamping the neighbourhood.
The building is situated in a large open space which is surrounded by gardens and olive trees, a unique setting to celebrate all kinds of get-togethers.
Open to the public an hour and a half before and after each performance. For private event enquiries, please contact the theatre’s management and catering team.
